Dustin and I celebrated our 1st anniversary on May 8th. Originally, Dustin had planned a romantic get-away in at a Hotel/Spa in Manti so we could visit Snow College (where we met) and other places that are special to us (like the place where he first kissed me). We haven't been back there since our first year so we were excited to go. But then we realized that we didn't have the money for the hotel or gas, so we had to try to plan a fun day here in Logan.
And guess what? It WAS fun! We spent the morning together at our new apartment, and then we went to our favorite campsite up in Logan Canyon. We didn't bring our tent because it is still too cold at night to sleep over, but we bought some snacks and built a fire and just sat talking together. Oh, and we brought a bubble wand and blew bubbles! Then we went to a Demolition Derby. It was really a fun day, a good way to celebrate one whole year of being married to my best friend in the whole world, Dustin Penman!
We rolled up our pants because the ground was a little muddy.

Congrats! What a cute family. It looks like you had tons of fun. I think days like those are the most enjoyable and memorable.
That looked like it was way fun! Maybe when you guys come visit us you can stop by all those sites at Snow on your way down. :) Love you sistah!
