One Month Old!

Here are some things about our little girl's first month! 

*First of all, we are completely enamored of our little girl!  We think she is sooooo beautiful.  And smart.  We love watching her grow.  She is getting better and better at holding her head up and looking all around on her little turtle neck.  We like doing "tummy time" with her--one of us sits on the couch and sets her on her tummy on our chest.  She does little push-ups with her little arms and lifts up her head to look at our faces.  She grunts and growls and snorts from all the hard work.  It is so cute!

*Lia is such a good baby.  She rarely cries for no reason.   That is, we can usually figure out what she needs and take care of her so she stops crying. 

*She eats every two hours during the day, but goes 4-6 hours at night!  (Except the last two nights.  She only went three hours max.  Little stinker.)

*Lia is opinionated and stubborn already.  She knows what she wants and lets us know! 

*She scowls and snorts when she’s frustrated.  It is so adorable.  She has a killer scowl and sometimes she glares at us.  It's cute--but probably wont be so cute in a few years!  

*She hums while she eats.

*She  hates being burped.  When she's done eating she fusses and squirms while I'm trying to burp her.  And she hardly ever burps.  She always fake sleeps after she's done eating.  She closes her eyes and raises her eyebrows like, "Mom, I'm sleeping.  Stop bugging me."  Of course five minutes later she's wide awake. 

*She makes the funniest faces!  She makes us laugh every day.
