In Celebration of Blue

I just wanted to write a little post in gratitude of BLUE. Beautiful sky blue.  Because yesterday, for the first time in weeks up here in smoggy Logan, we had blue skies.  Sunday's snow storm---which I cursed when I had to walk to church through deep slush in heels---miraculously cleared out the layers of inversion which have been plaguing the valley since the year started.  To make things better, neither of us had to work yesterday, so after Dustin's morning class we went home together and ran some errands, just enjoying the blue.  And the fresh, crisp, clean air we were breathing.  And the SUN.  It was wonderful. 

Blue has never been my favorite color.   

But today, I am very very grateful for  BLUE.
