Thank you so much to Tim and Allie for letting me, Dustin, Lia, and Sara crash their apt for three days! It was so good to get away. Lia did so good on the drive, well except for the time she had a 7-wipe diaper blowout on the freeway somewhere after Cedar City. And then got hungry 5 minutes after we got back on the road, so we had to pull over again. Other than that, she was just a champ. Plus she slept wonderfully every night we were there! What a little darling.
The weather in Las Vegas was amazing, have I mentioned that already? Lia got to experience sunlight in all its hot, bright glory for the first time. She wasn't sure at first, but I think she warmed up to it eventually. (Warmed up--get it?! Haha!) She also went swimming for the first time and really enjoyed it, except for the getting out of the pool part.
The Strip was fun to visit again. I always love the Bellagio fountain show. We also went to the Aquarium at Mandalay Bay, which was probably my favorite part of the trip. We ended up on the Strip Saturday night, which was probably a mistake, considering it was the weekend, Spring Break, and there were two NCAA conference championship games that night. The Strip was SCARY! Probably should have thought that one through better.
(As it turns out, the most outrageous thing you'll ever see on the Vegas Strip is a couple of daddies with their little babies in front-packs. We got all kinds of stares, even people asking if the babies were real. Babies keep the nasty guys and girls with their nasty porn cards away too! So maybe a fake baby wouldn't be a bad idea!)
Okay, picture time!
Cute Zachary!
I was so happy Lia got to wear her cute sundress for once!
Darling Aunt Sara!
Some cool ceiling art at the Bellagio.
Happy Birthday Sara!
We forgot a hat and didn't want her head to get burned, so a nice old lady in one of the shops pulled this cap out of storage somewhere and we got it for $3. What a funny girl! This was basically the only time she was awake. Mostly she just slept in her front pack.
Lia sleeping away at the aquarium.
This is a tunnel tank you can walk through.
Rays!
All tuckered out after swimming!
Are these not the cutest cousins you've ever seen? I was so glad we got spend some time with Zachie and Tim and Allie. Thanks guys!

How fun! I am so jealous that Lia has a cousin her same age to play and grow up with. Camden is the lone loner in our family.
Aah, to swim outside! The rest looks fun too- but that part tops it all! Glad you guys had a good time!
I am so glad that you guys could come and spend time with us! it was awesome and we should do it again sometime. Love you tonz!
Wow! It looks like you had a blast. I seriously was laughing out loud at the "fake baby" scenario. That's pretty much hilarious.
