We're Havin' a Princess!

YAY!!  We are really excited.  Dustin and I have really been thinking it would be a girl for a couple months now.  We were right! 

The bad news is, our little one is quite stubborn!  She was curled up in a little ball for the whole ultrasound, with her back to the camera and one hand over her face.  Not the ideal position for seeing little girl parts or her face!  The tech only managed to get two bum shots.  On the first she said, "I think it's looking like a girl."  On the second, she said, "Oh yes. It looks like a girl to me!  Start buying pink!"  It really wasn't a good shot, but the tech seemed pretty confident, so we are going with it. 

The good news is, she looks just perfect!  She is just exactly the right size and her heart and brain and organs are all there.  We didn't get to hear her heartbeat but we saw it beating on the screen.  She was moving around but didn't ever roll over, even with the tech pushing on my belly and everyone encouraging her to roll over!  Oh well.  I am mostly just relieved that she looks so perfect and everything is in the right place.  We are very happy and excited to meet our little girl!!

Our favorite girl name is Lia.  Still haven't decided on a middle name.  We are almost positive we are going to name her Lia, but we also like Adaliah (Dustin's favorite but I like it too).  And if she turns out to be a boy after all, he will be Elijah (Eli).
